Alzmenda 10 mg film-coated tablets

It is used for the treatment of moderate to severe dementia in Alzheimer's disease.

Treatment should be given under a doctor's supervision.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

• Memantine hydrochloride 10 mg

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, macrogol, titanium dioxide.

Properties:

Alzmenda is a remedy for dementia. Memantine is a non-competitive antagonist of glutamate NMDA receptors. It reduces the excessive stimulating effect of glutamate neurons and reduces the entry of Ca2+ into neurons, which may lower the risk of their destruction.

It has nootropic, cerebrovasodilating, antihypoxic and psychostimulating effects.

It improves weakened memory, increases the ability to concentrate, reduces fatigue and depression symptoms, and reduces skeletal muscle spasticity caused by diseases or brain damage.

Indications:

Moderate to severe dementia in Alzheimer's disease.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not higher than 30 °C.

Packaging:

Pack of 21 film-coated tablets.

The leaflet states that the cardboard box contains 1, 2 or 3 blisters of 7 tablets, with paper instructions for use.
