Atoreza 10/10 mg

It is intended for adults with type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease or other risk factors.

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains:

• Atorvastatin 10 mg
• Ezetimibe 10 mg

Excipients: calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, polysorbate 80, hydroxypropylcellulose, purified water, magnesium stearate.

Properties:

Atoreza is a fixed-dose combination of atorvastatin and ezetimibe. Atorvastatin is a third-generation statin that lowers LDL ("bad") cholesterol and triglycerides and raises HDL ("good") cholesterol. Ezetimibe lowers blood cholesterol by blocking its absorption in the small intestine. Together they lower total cholesterol, LDL and triglycerides and increase HDL.

Indications:

• Treatment of high cholesterol levels
• Reducing the risk of stroke, heart attack or other heart complications in people with type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease or other risk factors.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in a dry place, out of the reach of children.

Packaging:

Carton box containing 28 film-coated tablets (4 blisters of 7 tablets each), with a paper leaflet.
