Acetylcistein 200 mg sachets

It thins thick, viscous sputum and helps it leave the airways.

It is used in acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tract and ENT organs with excessive sputum, such as bronchitis, sinusitis and influenza.

Composition:

Active ingredient: acetylcysteine 200 mg per sachet.

Excipients: ascorbic acid, sorbitol, lemon flavor (food flavoring), aspartame.

Properties:

Mucolytic agent, a derivative of the amino acid cysteine, in the form of granulated powder for oral solution.

Acetylcysteine liquefies sputum by breaking disulfide bonds of acid mucopolysaccharides and reduces its viscosity.

It stimulates mucociliary clearance and reduces bacterial adhesion to the bronchial mucosa.

It remains active in mucous, mucopurulent and purulent sputum.

Indications:

Mucolytic therapy for acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tract and ENT organs with excessive viscous sputum (as part of combination therapy):

• acute and chronic bronchitis
• tracheitis and laryngitis
• sinusitis
• influenza and acute respiratory viral infections
• bronchial asthma
• cystic fibrosis (as adjunctive therapy)

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, in a dry place.

Keep out of reach of children.

Cardboard box containing 10 sachets of granulated powder, 200 mg each.
