Alkapress 10 mg tablets

It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and certain types of angina pectoris.

The product is supplied as a box of 30 tablets made by Hikma Pharmaceuticals.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

• Amlodipine besylate 10 mg (equivalent to 10 mg of amlodipine)

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate, sodium starch gluconate, magnesium stearate.

Properties:

Alkapress is the besilate salt of amlodipine, a long-acting calcium channel blocker.

Indications:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Chronic stable angina pectoris
• Vasospastic angina pectoris

Storage:

Store at a temperature not above 30°C, in a dry place, out of the reach of children.
