Anallerge 4 mg tablets

It is used for symptomatic control of allergic conditions such as urticaria, hay fever, food and drug allergies, insect bites, vasomotor rhinitis and angioedema.

Tablets are taken by mouth.

Composition:

Each tablet contains 4 mg chlorpheniramine maleate.

Excipients: lactose, talc, magnesium stearate, sodium benzoate.

Properties:

Chlorpheniramine maleate is a phenothiazine derivative with antihistamine and sedative properties.

It blocks H1 receptors, reduces capillary wall permeability, narrows dilated blood vessels and relieves swelling.

It relieves congestion of the nasal passages, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx and has marked local anesthetic properties.

Indications:

Symptomatic control of all allergic conditions, including:

• urticaria
• hay fever
• food and drug allergies
• insect bites
• vasomotor rhinitis
• angioedema

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in a dry place, out of the reach of children.

Packaging:

Cardboard box containing 1, 2 or 3 blisters of 20 tablets each, and a paper leaflet.
