Bisolvon 8 mg tablets

Bisolvon 8 mg tablets contain bromhexine hydrochloride, a mucolytic and expectorant medicine. It reduces the thickness of mucus in the airways and makes it easier to cough up, and it is used for acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases with thick, hard-to-clear mucus. Typical uses include bronchitis, bronchial asthma and chronic pneumonia.

Composition:

Active ingredient: bromhexine hydrochloride, 8 mg per tablet.

Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, starch, magnesium stearate.

Properties:

Mucolytic and expectorant.

Reduces the viscosity of bronchial mucus by breaking down acidic polysaccharides.

Stimulates the production of surfactant-containing secretions in the airways.

Rapidly absorbed, with a systemic effect.

Indications:

Secretolytic therapy of acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases with impaired mucus formation and transport, such as:

• tracheobronchitis
• chronic bronchitis
• bronchial asthma
• cystic fibrosis
• chronic pneumonia
• other respiratory diseases with thick, hard-to-expel sputum

Storage:

Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.

Carton box containing 2 blister strips of 10 tablets each (20 tablets in total), with a leaflet.
