Apidone 0.5 mg/2 mg per 5 ml syrup

Apidone is a combined syrup containing the synthetic glucocorticoid dexamethasone and the antihistamine chlorphenamine maleate. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. It is used for allergic conditions and inflammatory diseases as directed by a doctor.

Composition:

Each 5 ml of syrup contains:

• Dexamethasone 0.5 mg
• Chlorphenamine maleate 2 mg

Excipients: sucrose, sodium citrate, citric acid, sodium benzoate, flavoring agent, purified water.

Properties:

Dexamethasone is a synthetic glucocorticoid. It suppresses inflammatory reactions of any origin.

Chlorphenamine is an antihistamine. It rapidly blocks the action of histamine.

The combination has pronounced anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects.

Indications:

• Bronchial asthma
• Allergic rhinitis
• Urticaria and angioedema
• Atopic and contact dermatitis
• Hypersensitivity to drugs, chemicals and insect bites
• Stevens-Johnson syndrome and other severe allergic conditions
• Endocrine diseases (for example, congenital adrenal hyperplasia)
• Rheumatic diseases (for example, rheumatoid arthritis)

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Bottle of 125 ml oral syrup, in a carton box.
