Aprovel 300 mg tablets

It is used to treat high blood pressure (arterial hypertension) and to treat kidney disease in adults with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes, as part of combined antihypertensive therapy.

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains 300 mg irbesartan.

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, purified water, titanium dioxide, macrogol 3000, carnauba wax.

Properties:

Irbesartan is a potent, selective angiotensin II receptor antagonist (AT1 type). It blocks the actions of angiotensin II regardless of its source or route of synthesis.

It does not inhibit ACE (kininase-1) and does not require metabolic activation to be active.

Indications:

Arterial hypertension (high blood pressure).

Treatment of kidney disease in adult patients with arterial hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus, as part of combined antihypertensive therapy.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Packaging:

Cardboard box containing 14 film-coated tablets in aluminium blisters.
