Cetal 250 mg/5 ml suspension

Cetal is an analgesic and antipyretic oral suspension containing paracetamol 250 mg in 5 ml. It is used for pain of mild to moderate intensity, such as headache, toothache and muscle pain, and for fever in infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Composition:

Each 5 ml of oral suspension contains:

• Paracetamol 250 mg

Properties:

Analgesic and antipyretic. It has analgesic, antipyretic and mild anti-inflammatory effects. The mechanism of action is linked to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, with a mainly central effect on the thermoregulation centre in the hypothalamus.

Indications:

Pain of mild to moderate intensity from various causes, including headache, migraine, toothache, neuralgia, muscle pain (myalgia), painful menstruation, and pain from injuries and burns.

Fever in infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
