Dentinox 2.65% infant colic drops

Dentinox drops are an antifoaming medicine with activated dimeticone for relieving colic and gas in infants and children. They are given mixed into milk or water during feeding, from birth onwards.

Composition:

Active ingredient: activated dimeticone 2.65%.

Excipients: carbomer, sodium hydroxide, dill oil, sucrose, E218 and water.

Properties:

Activated dimeticone is an antifoaming agent. It reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles in the intestine, breaks them up and helps gas leave the digestive tract. It also speeds up gut motility. It is not absorbed from the intestine and has no systemic effect.

Indications:

• Intestinal colic in infants and children.
• Flatulence (bloating) and gas accumulation in the gut, including after surgery (prevention).
• Aerophagia (swallowing air).
• Aid in preparing for ultrasound or X-ray of the abdomen, to reduce gas shadows.
• Stopping foam during gastroscopy.

Storage:

Do not store above 25 °C.
