Erastapex 20 mg tablets

It is used to treat essential arterial hypertension (high blood pressure).

Take it once a day, with a sufficient amount of water.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

• Olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, starch, magnesium stearate, talc, titanium dioxide.

Properties:

Antihypertensive agent, angiotensin II receptor blocker. It is highly selective for angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, through which the main effects of angiotensin II are realised.

By blocking these receptors, olmesartan medoxomil prevents the vasoconstrictor effect of angiotensin II. It causes a secondary increase in plasma renin activity and a direct decrease in aldosterone secretion.

It causes a dose-dependent, prolonged decrease in blood pressure.

Indications:

Essential arterial hypertension.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.

Packaging:

Pack of 30 film-coated tablets: 3 blisters of 10 tablets each, in a cardboard box, with a paper leaflet.
