Adolor 10 mg film-coated tablets

It is used for short-term relief of moderate to severe pain of various origins, including pain after surgery and pain in cancer.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

• Ketorolac tromethamine 10 mg

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, talc, crospovidone (Kollidon CL), lactose monohydrate (milk sugar).

Properties:

Ketorolac has a pronounced analgesic effect, as well as anti-inflammatory and moderate antipyretic effects. It works by non-selective inhibition of cyclooxygenase 1 and 2, mainly in peripheral tissues, which reduces prostaglandin synthesis. Its analgesic effect is due to the S-enantiomer.

The drug does not act on opioid receptors, does not depress breathing, does not cause dependence and has no sedative or anxiolytic effect.

Its analgesic strength is comparable to morphine and it is clearly stronger than other NSAIDs.

After oral intake, the pain relief starts in about 1 hour and the maximum effect is reached in 1-2 hours.

Indications:

Moderate and severe pain of various origins, including pain in the postoperative period and pain in cancer and other diseases.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not above 30°C, in a dry place.
