Algesal Suractive 4% cream

Algesal Suractive is an external analgesic and anti-inflammatory cream containing diethylamine salicylate, myrtecaine and salicylic acid. It is used for pain and inflammation of the joints, spine and muscles, including sciatica, lumbago, arthralgia in arthritis and rheumatism, sprains and tendovaginitis.

Composition:

Each 100 g of cream contains:

• Salicylic acid 6.54 g
• Diethylamine 3.46 g (as diethylamine salicylate)
• Myrtecaine 1.00 g

Excipients: ethylene glycol monostearate, light liquid paraffin, cetyl alcohol, polyoxyethylene castor oil, macrogol 300 stearate, saturated polyglycolized glycerides, glycerol monostearate, lavandin, hydrochloric acid, purified water.

Properties:

• Salicylic acid: keratolytic, antiseptic, local irritant and anti-inflammatory effect; suppresses secretion of sebaceous and sweat glands.
• Diethylamine: analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
• Myrtecaine: surface and conductive anesthetic; enhances the deep analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect of diethylamine by facilitating its penetration; also has a muscle relaxant effect.

Indications:

• pain syndrome in diseases of the spine (pinched intervertebral disc, osteochondrosis, lumbago, sciatica)
• arthralgia in arthritis
• arthralgia and myalgia in rheumatism
• pain syndrome after closed injuries with ligament rupture or sprain, edema, hematoma
• tendovaginitis

Storage:

Store at a temperature not higher than 30 °C.

Packaging:

• Tube of 40 g in a cardboard box.
