Description
It works only in the presence of sexual arousal.
Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:
- Active substance: tadalafil 20 mg.
- Excipients: lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate.
- Film coating: Opadry II yellow (lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, triacetin, iron oxide yellow dye).
Properties:
Tadalafil is a reversible, selective inhibitor of cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). When sexual arousal causes local release of nitric oxide, PDE5 inhibition increases cGMP in the corpora cavernosa. This relaxes the smooth muscles of the arteries and increases blood flow to the penis, causing an erection. Tadalafil has no effect without sexual arousal.
Indications:
- Erectile dysfunction in adult men.
The 20 mg tablets are used for erectile dysfunction. Use for lower urinary tract symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia applies to the 5 mg dosage only.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of the reach of children.
Packaging:
