Megafen 200 mg + 325 mg tablets

It is used for symptomatic relief of pain and fever, for example in colds and flu, muscle, joint, back and tooth pain, and menstrual cramps.

It reduces pain and inflammation at the time of use and does not affect the progression of the underlying disease.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

• Ibuprofen 200 mg
• Paracetamol 325 mg

Properties:

Combined drug; the effect is due to its two components.

Ibuprofen is an NSAID with analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic action. It inhibits COX-1 and COX-2, reduces prostaglandins and suppresses the exudative and proliferative phases of inflammation.

Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic action, mainly in the central nervous system, and has little effect on the gastrointestinal mucosa.

The combination is more effective than either component alone. It reduces joint pain at rest and during movement, morning stiffness and joint swelling.

Indications:

• symptomatic therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases (colds, flu) with fever, chills, headache, muscle and joint pain, sore throat
• myalgia
• neuralgia
• back pain
• joint pain and pain in inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system
• pain from bruises, sprains, dislocations, fractures
• post-traumatic and postoperative pain
• toothache
• algodysmenorrhea (painful menstruation)

The drug relieves symptoms only and does not affect the progression of the disease.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

Pack: 20 tablets (cardboard box with 2 blisters of 10 tablets).
