Alphintern 12 mg tablets

Alphintern is a combined proteolytic preparation of protein origin, containing trypsin and chymotrypsin. It is used to reduce and resorb edema and exudates and as an adjunct therapy for inflammatory diseases.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

• Trypsin and chymotrypsin complex 12 mg

Excipients: starch, aerosil, magnesium stearate, avicel, methylcellulose, dextran, talc.

Properties:

Combined proteolytic agent of protein origin, obtained from the pancreas of cattle. When applied topically and externally, it breaks down necrotic tissue and fibrinous formations, and liquefies viscous secretion, exudate and blood clots. It hydrolyzes proteins and peptones into low molecular weight peptides, cleaving bonds formed by aromatic amino acid residues (tyrosine, tryptophan, phenylalanine, methionine).

Indications:

• Reduction and resorption of edema and exudates
• Adjunct therapy for inflammatory diseases

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

Carton box containing 3 blisters of 10 tablets (30 coated tablets).
