Alzental 20 mg/ml suspension

Alzental is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic oral suspension containing albendazole 20 mg in each 1 ml. It is used to treat liver, lung and peritoneal hydatid cysts, neurocysticercosis, and many intestinal worm infections and giardiasis.

Composition:

Each 1 ml of suspension contains:

• Albendazole micronized 20 mg

Properties:

Albendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic active against most nematodes and some cestodes. It stops the growth of parasitic worms.

Indications:

• Hydatid disease (echinococcosis) of the liver, lung and peritoneum, caused by the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus
• Parenchymal neurocysticercosis caused by the larval form of Taenia solium
• Single and mixed intestinal nematode infections: ascariasis, enterobiasis, hookworm, strongyloidiasis, trichuriasis
• Giardiasis
• Capillariasis, gnathostomiasis, trichostrongyliasis
• Lymphatic filariasis
• Toxocariasis

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of the reach of children.
