Description
It is used to treat skin infections caused by the herpes simplex virus, including initial and recurrent genital herpes and labial herpes.
Composition:
Each 100 g of cream contains:
- Acyclovir 5 g
Excipients: liquid paraffin, propylene glycol, methylparaben, propylparaben, triethanolamine, cetostearyl alcohol, cetomacrogol 1000 and water.
Properties:
Acyclovir is an antiviral agent. It is active against herpes simplex virus (HSV) types I and II and varicella zoster virus (chickenpox).
Indications:
Treatment of skin infections caused by the herpes simplex virus, including initial and recurrent genital herpes and labial herpes.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in a dry place, out of the reach of children.
Packaging:
Cardboard box containing one 10 g aluminium tube and a paper leaflet.
