Acivirax 800 mg tablets

Acivirax contains acyclovir 800 mg in each tablet. It is an antiviral medicine used to treat chickenpox and shingles (herpes zoster).

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

• Acyclovir 800 mg

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K30, sodium starch gluconate.

Properties:

Acivirax is an antiviral agent. It acts against herpes simplex virus (types 1 and 2) and varicella zoster virus (chickenpox virus).

Indications:

• Treatment of chickenpox (varicella)
• Treatment of shingles (herpes zoster)

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of the reach of children.

Packaging:

• 20 tablets per pack
• Carton box with blisters of 10 tablets each, with paper instructions.
