Antodine 20 mg tablets

It reduces the amount of acid produced by the stomach.

It is used to treat and prevent stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and heartburn.

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains:

• Famotidine 20 mg.

Properties:

Famotidine is a competitive inhibitor of histamine H2 receptors. It reduces the amount of acid secreted by the stomach.

Indications:

• Treatment and prevention of ulcers of the stomach and intestine.
• Conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
• Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions in which acid passes from the oesophagus into the stomach, causing heartburn.
• Heartburn, indigestion and stomach upset.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in a dry place, out of the reach of children.

Packaging:

Pack of 30 film-coated tablets, supplied in blisters of 10 tablets, in a cardboard box with a paper leaflet.
